Stay Home Mom

So I am now a stay home mom. I have been home now for two weeks and have accomplished NOTHING... The kids are getting used to the idea of me being home. Sometimes Caden asks me when I will go back to work because he wants to go to Grandmas to play :-)

Things I need to work on now that I am home... Ok there are too many things to list. I have to admit I am feeling a bit overwhelmed with it all. And I thought staying home would be easier...

You should let dad...

I don't know if Josh is brain washing Cade or if he really thinks his dad is underprivileged when in comes to vehicles. Every time we pass a large truck or a sporty car Cade pipes up and says "Mom you should get that for dad." If I respond with anything other than ok he'll rebuttal with "You always don't let him." I am pretty sure that Josh has him campaigning for him...

We had just mailed off our father's day present to Grandpa Newman and were on our way to play at Grandma's house. On the way I asked Hailey and Caden if they knew Grandpa Newman's first name... After a pause Hailey said "It's Grandpa". I explained that his first name is Keith and that Grandpa Barlow's first name is Keith as well. She piped up and said "it's Cades name too". After a minute of silence Hailey started asking why Cadens nickname was Keith and hers was Bug. I explained that his nickname is actually Cade and hers is Bug. She again paused and then said in a very upset voice " Well I just don't like it when you call me bug because it just makes me feel buggish."
